Why do our Ls1's have oil pressure gauges?

Default Why do our Ls1's have oil pressure gauges?

Ive noticed that every car ive ever been in, american or import, has no oil pressure gauge. Only c5 vettes and fbodies. Its weird because it can warn you from future problems about to happen but yet cars dont have it

lets see my 1990 gmc sierra and my bronco II both had one. I've only seen one car that doesn't have one my sisters new toyota corolla

most cars have a warning light that comes on if the pressure gets too low if they don't have a guage.

My Sonoma and S10 had it. My G35 has it too, IIRC.

weird cuz my parents have bmw's and neither of their 3 cars have it..

My mom's Mazda 6 and my sister's Passat don't have oil pressure gauges either.

mine is always at 0 too.....It makes this real loud knocking sound, been doing it for like 8mths now, guess its normal....

too save some weight leave out the oil! and the drain plug! just run some "Pro Long" first before draining it! Hell who needs oil? does anybody even use Pro Long anyway?

I just put water in that hole where the valve cover is and fill it up till it starts leaking out......She runs great....

ya and it comes on around 5-10 psi by that time its to late something already failed pretty much...

unless you have a 98..the oil pressure gauge isn't a real gauge anyway..
