Right now I have a cam only car full bolt ons stock 10bolt and it is a M6 car. I want the ultimate street car and take it to the track every now and then. This will help me to decide what to do.

Im gonna go with what cobalt said.

Save unless you just have shitloads of money, youll never get the money back that you invested in a car. Plenty of other good investments that will make you money in the long run.

BUT if you say **** it then turbo the bitch or H/C/I and nitrous. It wont take too much HP to make a 10 sec. pass just a good setup.

If I have 20000 to spend, I would put a down payment on a house. that's just me. but 20000 can buy you one hell of an engine.

408+nitrous..can you send me a check for telling the greatest advice lol

yeah, wont take that much to do the 10sec; I'm pretty sure I can bust a high 10s pass, but I need the 9''

I am in the same boart as you. I have like $25 grand to spend and more then likely will be getting a 438 LS7 motor with my T-56 rebuilt to support the power. I already have all the suspension stuff done and a Moser 9 inch. But I am not spending all the money on my car I am also paying off a lot of loose bill's too. Good luck on what you are going to do.

You dont need a built engine or turbos to run 10s, hell I run 9s on a stock short block heads cam nitrous car.

All tough choices, I am a fan of H/C LS1 engines though. Whatever you decide to do make sure you save enough in your budget to build up your drivetrain.

And this guy can be a millionaire for all we know. EVERYONE isn't in financial trouble, apparently he has been smart with his cash.

Just put some spray, strengthen your drivetrain.

Im thinking of pulling out on selling my car now, just because hearing this economy stuff is depressing. I rather just roll in my paid off car then jump into a $40k+ car that will depreciate and fall with the economy.
