Default About $20,000 to spend on Car Parts

I want to know what to do? The car has about 80,000 miles on it. I dont know where to begin. I am thinking about a 402 or 408 stroker engine, TEA Heads Fast 92mm moser 9in etc. My goal would be a 10 sec car. What other suggestions would you guys have. Right now I have a cam only car full bolt ons stock 10bolt and it is a M6 car. I want the ultimate street car and take it to the track every now and then. This will help me to decide what to do.

having a stroker is great, lots of power, great driveability......BUT,its impossible to not laugh or smile when a nice turbo kicks in and sucks you in the seat like a monster on steroids, and guess what, probably the best street manners. If done right you will probably get more power then the other setups.

I would say IMO do a built up small cubic inch motor with a turbo (or two) along with the 9'' and supporting mods...having a safe and semi reliable 600+ rwhp on tap wouldn't be too bad haha.

Forged motor built to handle the boost from the turbo kit you are going to put on it. As far as the rest of the car, 9", suspension, get a good clutch, and I'd have the tranny rebuilt while you are at it. I'd say all that could be done for $20k depending on labor costs.

Save it....the economy is in a depression and it's in the shithole right now..extra cash laying around was already rare and in the coming months it's going to be extremely rare.
A lot of people are gonna struggle to make ends meat.
So my advice:Save it. You don't wanna spend 20K on something that you don't NEED unless you're dead positive you won't need credit for the next two years, aren't in debt, etc.
Buy gold, it's gonna skyrocket, especially with inflation on the rise!
Good luck

You can get to 10 seconds a lot less then $20,000. If you want a 10 second pass you don't need to just throw money at the car just get a setup that works.

I would do a H/C + nitrous with all the supporting mods. Definitely don't blow it all on just the engine.

Thanks Guys and yes I will be tithing 10%. Everyone has a great response. Suspension is a must and will have to stiffen up the body. I am fortunate to have a good job, but I wont be seeing this $$ for a while. My family is in a wrongful death lawsuit. Dad passed away about a year ago.
Keep it comin guys need more opinions.
