Weird window/lock switch problem?
Weird window/lock switch problem? Okay so first things first, the car is a 99 Z28.
the problem, I can be going down the road and my radio quits works, it looese power and my window switches quit working, sometimes I can bang the door and it starts to work. Sometimes, I have to lock and unlock the car a few times and then the radio comes back on, and the windows work again? any Idea what is causing this? I looked the wires seem to be tight into the switches....what can I look for ??? items with wiring drive me nuts!

i had the same problem and i soldiered it up and it worked great. also it helps to tap right under the passenger foot area, thats what would make it work sometimes

thanks guys, i'll be trying this tonite hopefully this is the fix, definetly sounds like it. I'm just tired of getting cut out, and not finishing my ACDC down the road. thanks for the help
