If you are talking about your camaro of firebird you have electric fans. If your belts are squeeling you may need new ones or new idler pulley.

try putting some belt dressing on it, if u don't have that, a little brake fluid on it will help too, don't coat the thing though, could slip off

i have the same problem i think. it sounds like the bearings on one of the pulleys. i have replaced the one of the tension pulley but it had no effect. it only squeals when the car had only been runninf for an hour or less and it keeps getting worse.
