Default Top 6 lines of rear defroster don't work!

Seeing as how i drive my car during winter this is a major pain in the ***. I've visually checked it out and can't seem to find any kind of rips or cuts in the lines. The rest of them work fine and defrost everything fast but the top 6 dont do ****. Anybody got any ideas?

took a closer look and it seems like they're broken in some places, how would I go about replacing them.

The haynes manual shows how to replace it, but doesnt give any parts or part numbers. I would go to your local parts store and look in the help section, or the section with the rtvs and silicon. Might have something in there for ya. At least thats where I would look first.

Hope this helps.

yea they sell repair kits for it. Basically you brush some paste like material in the parts that have the separations
