Default Cooling system issues

Ok, I don't know what the hell to think....

Since I have owned my car I can smell antifreeze when I get out of it and I have done everything I can think of to fix the issue. Besides the smell the only other issue is when I am on the highway the temperature starts to get above 210 degrees which worries me.

I have....

Installed a 184 degree thermostat
Changed hoses
Replaced radiator
New water pump

So I think, blown head gasket....it's not burning any antifreeze, and the motor oil looks fine....no nasty grey crap in the valve covers.

Any ideas guys? I don't know what the hell to think.....

There's an overflow hose is routed underneath the battery through a pathway on the battery tray. Sometimes that hose can become rotted in the area where the 90 degree elbow bends are.

If you're smelling it has to be a leak somewhere. Time for some dye in the coolant and pressurize the system?

heater core or heater hoses might be leaking. i couldnt find my leak until i borrowed a coolant system pressurizer and found out my heater hose had a very smalll leak right where it attaches to the the heater core.

I think I'm going to go get that thing pressurized....tired of looking. Let a mechanic figure it out. Because yeah there may be a small leak in a heater hose but why would an "extemely small leak" I say that because I have seen no loss in coolant be making my engine get hot???
