Belt woes...

So we had a hard rain earlier this week here in az, and my belts have been squeaking since. It's cole here now so i know that the water wont dry as fast. But my belts have been squeaking since. I tried belt dressing, and that helped for maybe 5 mins till I got out on the road. I was thinking about trying to find the wax that you put on the belts to quiet them. I havent had a squeak until this rain. Any suggestions??

I've heard about trying this too, but never tried it since my belt squeak usually goes away after the rains stop.

i've heard they have a kind of wax crayon out that you rub on the belt..anyone heard of this?

+1 on changing the belts. They are probably worn out and the rain finally showed you that. Belt dressing will help the belt grip for a bit. But if they are bad enough, they just start squeaking again.
