Default Oil Light

I have only owned this particular bird for about 6 months. When I first got it, no issues with the oil light at all. Turned on the car, it came on and went off. Now the light lingers for about a good 5 minutes before going off. The funny thing is the last person to change the oil was the dealer and that was only 2k miles ago. WTH?

If its full of oil the sensor is just acting wacky. Alot of them do that after a few years.

The system has to be manually reset every time an oil change is done otherwise the light will pop up. Use the method that was described above.
