More Power steering issues
fluid seemed to be spraying out of the back side of the pump. Between the pump and the bracket that attaches the pump to the head.
Ordered brand new pump from autozone, took off the old pump and reinstalled the new one. Filled it up and started to bleed it.. all looked fine till i started the car and started turning wheel from stop to stop. Saw fluid on ground. Had a friend turn the wheel and got under the car, all was good until the wheel was turned to the stop, then it started pissing from the same spot as the old one but ten times worse.
So I said screw it exchanged the new leaky pump for the complete setup with the tank. installed that to night and same thing...
i am totally lost. the lines are tight no leaks can't see anything leaking from the hoses only place it sprays from is the from the bottom between the rear of the pump and the bracket..
any help on this would be appreciated... Other wise going to have to take it to the shop and have them figure it out.
attached is the best pic i could get to help show the leak area
left arrow back side of pump
right arrow front side of head bracket
pump mates to the braket with nothing between there should not be fluid there

gonna try letting the car get warmed up again and see if maybe internal seals just needed a little longer... If no luck it goes to the shop
i let the car come up to temp. they played around with the wheel
no leaks when i turn the wheel, until it goes full left or full right (lock or stop)
as soon as you release it from locked out it stops spraying???? it is for sure not a hose
these are a couple pics best i could do.....
bottom of the PS pump where it attaches to the bracket. when wheel is full turned it sprays like crazy from between

All I know is that I a completely stumped...
Car is going to the shop today for them to find the leak or at least the cause and just incase I got another (3rd one) PS pump coming will be here Saturday at noon...
Repair as needed. Exact same thing the dealer you bring it to will do.
I can't recall either if the line that foes into the pump on the side normally has a o-ring on it. Did you happen to replace that when you had it apart?
Sparying powersteering fluild is not good will ruin the alternator that sits underneath it.
shop can't get the car in till next week so I'll give the dye a try.
