car won't start after header install

car won't start after header install i just finished putting on lt's, put in new plugs as well. reconected everything, charged the battery (and had it connected to the trickle charger when cranking it), car sputtered a few times the made a grinding noise, so i removed the starter and the part that slides inton the bell housing snapped in HALF! i removed the broken piece from the bellhousing, car gets spark and fuel. whats going on?

Did you pull the the plugs and make sure you did not crack one putting them in are they all the way in, are they gapped correctly, are the plug wires on correctly, not being a dick just things I would check. sounds like your not getting spark.
