thats kinda messed up why dont you just tell em that you dont really need oil and you can just put sand instead
OP maybe you should take it to a shop and watch them change your oil and just do what they do next time

Look for the bolt, you can't miss it. Driver's side. The oil filter is right up there as well. Just look up. When changing the filter, just remember to put some oil in the filter and rub some oil on the rubber seal and hand tighten it.
What's so bad about that? I do. As long as the filter wasn't overtightened it usually isn't a problem. That band wrench is never handy when I'm changing my oil, always out of reach or something.

The only reason you should NOT be able to get your filter off is if a shop changed it before you and over torqued it.
