Sup everybody, while installing the white face overlays and t/a bezel on my 99 camaro. I accidentally popped off the temperature gauge... Does anybody know how i can fix this or know anyone who recalibrates them? Thanks.

Run the car and go for a drive until its up to temperature. Once done, you can stick the needle pointing at 12:00 on the dial and you should be set. (You should then be within 10 degrees either way if you don't have a modified cooling system.)

If you wanted to be real accurate, you could scan it to get the exact temp and match it up on the cluster.

On, otherwise the needle shaft will rotate back to the off position. When the car is on and the car is at a "normal" temperature, the needle should show straight up. (You'll notice that all gauges read that way - straight up when normal - but only temperature gauge is the only one that is usually dead-on.)

these cars have dummy temp gauges (except the 98s), it will read 210 when warmed up. even if its only at 200.
