electrical gremlin For starters it's a 93Z A4.....
My speedo sits at anywhere from 10-25 mph when the car is idling, weather it's in gear or park. I'm assuming it's a ground wire somewhere, but I haven't got the first idea of where to start looking. Anybody have any suggestions??

when I start moving it instantly drops to the starting point and continues as normal (as best I can tell). It's almost as if it's acting like a tach when standing still which leads me to believe a ground somewhere.

yeah I guess it gives me something to do this thursday or friday......I'm really hoping it's something easier to get ahold of then a fairly low mile cluster...

that's kinda what I was thinking as well, I'm just trying to find out if anyone else has run into a similar issue....maybe it's a a 93 thing since it's the lt1 with the old school 700R4
