Blinking SES light after plug change
Changed my 2year old TR6's with new TR6's tonight. Bothed were gapped at .030".
Now when I hold the rpm's the SES light will blink, then go away after a while. Havent had the chance to scan it yet, but my guess is the pe300 again.
Havent sprayed it in over 1 yr. Also the car still runs strong no misses or anything.
Maybe the knock sensor?
Any ideas are appreciated. Note: changing the plugs for the first time is a GOOD time.
thanks,
justin
I have a wideband and it appears to be running lean WOT now. about 13.7. At WOT I dont get a SES light though, only when holding the rpms around 3/4k.
How big of a shot do you have? Maybe try .045. That should be fine for the spray too.
I mean barring a cracked spark plug or broken plug wire......or maybe having a spark plug wire that is touching an exhaust manifold pipe..........that small .030 gap is all I can think of.
