any pics of lift points on camaro
I am looking for a picture of the lift points where the shop can use to lift my car with a 2 post lift with the swing out arms to go underneath. Maybe a visual pic would help them understand.

I used to hit the lower contorl arm mount- where contorl arm meets the body is where I put the rear one. In the front I hit "frame" or what appears to be the frame rail. Where the subframe connector is welds to.
But ? if they don't know where to lift a age old car. I would be worried to let them work on it.

Well I took my car to one place that does custom wheels and tires on high end cars and they jacked it up on the pinch welds and bent my tabs on my fenders in so I want to make myself clear when I go and I will look in my owners manual for a pic. I took my wheels and had them mount some tires and I am taking them back to see if they can troubleshoot a steering wheel vibration or get me some new tires so they have to drive the car to see how it is doing. Thanks guys.

Lift the car at the frame ONLY.

if you take a pair of channel locks, or a nice FLAT set of vise grips, you can bend the metal back and it will pull your fender in if its not lined up with the door.
be careful.
good luck.

Just use the subframes under the car in the front and back. If the "shop" you are going to doesn't know where to lift a car from then I would maybe suggest looking for a different shop. From my experience its pretty easy to look at a car and tell where to lift it at.

I'm aware of that. I always rest those points onto jackstands but I never jacked the car from there. I always jacked it up from the K-Member.
