Default Park Brake Cable Adjustment

How do you tighten the ebrake cable.
I have to have my handle FULLY UP for it to make any effect at locking the rear wheels.

Thanks guys!

It's a self adjusting system so you can't manually adjust. Your parking brake shoes may be worn out.

Default pretty sure

i'm not positive but i havn't been under ls1 but lt1 and third gens are this way. it should be half way to 3/4 down to back of car but just follow the e brake cable and there should be a nut on a long kind of hollow tube with threads and you tighten to take slack out.

You'll need to remove BOTH rear rotors. Each side has an adjuster screw. You'll want to adjust the screw until the shoes don't drag when the rotor is on & you spin it. Actual clearance from the rotor drum to the shoe is 0.026", so it should be adjusted to the point where the rotors just barely don't drag, if that makes sense.
