Default Power Steering Question?

My power steering fluid is low. It looks as if the fluid has been overflowing out the cap of the fluid reservoir. I auto x the car about once a month and I am sure this is where I am having the problem. Is there any thing I can do to fix this? Would replacing the fluid with something better be a good idea? If so how do you change it out and what should I use.

Thanks
Adam

Does your car have a power steering cooler? I think the fluid might be boiling over when it gets hot and auto x will cause the fluid to heat up severly. I'm not positive but this sounds like a direction to go to try to solve the prob.

Try emailing one of our sponsers, and asking a specific question about it. MTI maybe?

I have seen used power steering coolers for sale on e-bay for as cheap as $15.00.

I think i've seen them in Summit. It's a pretty straight forward job. You could do it in your driveway no prob with basic hand tools. Usally mounts in front of the radiator. There small, 3" x 12". I would also do a search to see if someone sells better fluid, somtheing with a higher boiling temp.

Summit
Jegs

I found these two. I know someone else has done this before. I just wish I could find them so I could figure out how to install it. I don't think I will be able to find a write up on this one.
