Default Car Is Dead!

i just went out to start my car and it dosnt turn over and no light are on. tried to jump it and nothing happened. the security light blinks very fast when the door is open and the key is out of the ignition. i just strated it a few hours before that and it was fine!
could my key be bad?
i know if some1 trys to break into your car it will shut off the starter and fuel system, could this of happened? is so does anyone know how much it would cost to fix?

better yet. is there a way to bypass this security thing?

I think TSP offers mail in tuning to turn off security but if it is security related just enter the code into the radio and it should clear that.

Have the battery tested to ensure it is good, or even if it can take a charge.

Do you have a tilt wheel? Does your key have the chip?? Key solenoid needs to be replaced, has two wires(security) that after around 120k miles wears out. I had to get locksmith to come to my shop and replace and make me new keys. About $250.

after all this research into the key chip thing it turns out the battery was just dead. but i still had no power even when i jumped it. took the battery to autozone for them to charge and test it, threw it back in the car, and it fired right up. i just dont understand why i still didnt have power when i tried to jump it. well the car runs just fine, thanks for everyones help. now i know a little bit more about my cars security system after all the research.

my guess, is a little bit of both, the security went off and your battery was dead. You can reset the security on the car by unplugging your batter for a few minutes........so when you took all the power from the car it rest the security too..... I'm pretty sure it says that in the book.....

A completely dead battery does not jump a car immmediately. Id check for any draws on the electrical system.
