Stock Radiator for LS1- Single or Dual Core?
Can anyone tell me if stock is single or dual core on a 2000 z28? I have had a few different answers and don't know how to tell by looking.
My car was over heating after about 20mins of driving, I pulled over to check the water and there was a lot of pinkish brown foam.
I then checked the oil which looked legit, then I checked the tranny fluid and it was really watered down.
I am assuming one of the tranny lines broke in the radiator.
any help is appreciated . . .

I actually dont know about the cores. But if you think the tranny cooler inside the radiator is leaking, why don't you just disconnect both tranny lines from the radiator, cap the ports off and go get an aftermarket $50.00 tranny cooler and mount it on in 20 minutes.
Flush the cooling system and refill it.
The stock tranny cooler going through the radiator really isn't a cooler anyway, seems to me that 220* coolant in the radiator will just keep the tranny fluid hot as it circulates.
An outside mounted cooler gets outside air rammed through it the whole time your driving.
