Wipers With a mind of thier own

01 Firebird Formula. SO if i turn on my wipers they work then ill turn them off and they will start to go back up then decide that they are turned off and go back to original position. If i turn them off again they wont stop and they only go the second fastest speed i can turn them to the fastest and back but they wont go slower or off. Any ideas?

You need a new pulse board module.

i don't know that you could get that at a parts store. may have to try a dealer for that. or get the part number from the dealer and see if the parts stores could cross it.

I have had this problem come and go. Or the wipers don't work unless on the highest speed.

I heard replacing the motor fixes the problem. Can anyone confirm this?

Parts store can get these. Parts guy will know what it is. My guess is $40.
