Bad wheel bearing?
Nothing seems to be rubbing, so I'm guessing I fked up the bearing. Squeak is at all mph/rpm etc. Starting to get louder.
Thoughts?
How much of a pita is it? Any special tools / recommendations?
I'll check the 6/12 stuff tomorrow. I can't really seeing it be I fucked the bearing, with people pullin the front wheels and not having a problem, but I do have shitty luck

More likely is the suspension travelled a little farther than normal, revealing a problem that was waiting to surface. Squeaking could be a ball joint, but my money's on a control arm bushing, or a sway bar bushing.

the easiest way to tell if it is going out is when you take the wheel off. if you spin the rotor you will hear a metal to metal rolling noise. you would also see a little grease in between the hub and the caliper.
mine got so bad that the abs sensor on the back of the wheel went out, however the new unit comes with a new sensor anyways.
replacement is straight foreward. there are 4 bolts holding the spindle onto the control arm. the bolts are on there tightly, i had to hit the wrench with a hammer a few times to get them loose enough to turn them. i had mine replaced in the driveway with an 18mm wrench (i think) and a floor jack in under a half hour

steering bushing thingy looks like it's seen better day. Perhaps that would be the culprit? Any other thoughts of what to try?
Part # for that?

guess it needs replaced anyway, I'll try that before I get a new bearing hub
Then take tie rod end and rotate off of rod end.
The reason I am being so specific is when I took mine off I thought the large nut was part of the unit and It would not back off because it is meant to lock the tie rod end on.
You might need a wheel alignment after changing this if you dont get the end installed in the exact spot on the rod.
Thanks
