Traction Question? Is there a (Traction Control System) for sale because, My cousin doesn't have one on his 2002 Camaro SS and he wants to know if there one?
Ive seen the SLP but don't know if thats the best?

Dont know man but he just bought the car and I have and 02 ss aswell and i droved his the other night n i notice he didnt have traction control so he told me to get him 1 because he doesnt have 1
Tell your cousin that he has a real gem. The Traction Control system on these cars isn't worth a damn. Never seen someone want to add it - but we see people trying to delete it all the time.
I had to special my car and waited 9 months just so I could get a car without it installed. The TCS cars have special rear ends in addition to the electronics.
The TCS only (if I recall correctly) keeps the rear wheels from slipping when you are going under 15mph. It does not give you stability control like a modern car and won't help you if you are on ice.

all it does it cut the throttle if the tires spin too fast, tell him to just use his foot 
if he has his heart set on it, he would need a new abs/tcs block, the traction control box and cables, you would probably need an new pcm (or program it in somehow), a 4 channel rear end, and all the wiring. this is my best guess, i could be wrong.

As far as the swap goes, I think this list is correct. Hardly worth it, especially since TCS is not only useless, but also annoying.
