Rear defroster install, need wiring diagrams for switch
I recently swapped my Formula's rear hatch with a high rise hatch.
The new hatch has a defroster in it and I was trying to figure out how to wire it up.
The new hatch had 2 extra wires coming from it that were purple and orange.
I bought a switch from a camaro and it has 5 wires coming out of it:
Grey, Black, Orange, Purple, and Brown.
The orange and purple wires are a much thicker guage then the rest.
So basicly I need to know how to hook up the other 3 wires.
Also where do I hook up the power?
If anyone has a wiring diagram for the rear defroster that would help a lot.
Thanks.

So it looks like I need a defroster timer/relay, any idea on how to find or make one?
Everything else looks good except the defroster switch in this wiring diagram only has 4 wires going into it; grey, brown, black, and pink.
My defroster switch has 5 wires: grey, brown, black, purple, and orange.
I think the switch is from a 95 Camaro, so maybe the wiring is just a little different?
