Default I Keep Blowing the MAF/Skip shift solenoid fuse!

I am having trouble finding what the problem is with 02 Camaro ss. I keep blowing the MAF slash skip shift solenoid fuse in the fuse box nearest to the front of the car which then in turn throws the MAF Low Frequecy code and skip shift solenoid code. I know it could be a short in a wire somewhere but i don't know where to even begin looking. Any thoughts about what the problem is and how to fix it are greatly appreciated.

Are you running headers? check if there are any burnt wires, the wires for the skip shift run back there.

yes i am running pacesetter long tubes. i checked my o2 sensor wires an they were burned a little but not through to the copper. so i wrapped them with thermal tape and that has seemed to do the trick. where do the wires for the skip shift run in relation to tranny and headers?
