Default Possible Ball Joint Problem (2000 Camaro SS)

Hi I'm new here and wanted to know wat would be symptoms of a ball joint problem on my 2000 Camaro SS. The steering wheel basically shakes at almost any speed n car seems to pull to either side at times for no reason. Rides really rough as well. Recently replaced rack n pinion, inner n outer tie rods, have pretty new tires that are balanced and aligned, n brakes are decent. Also wanted to know if its a fairly easy job that i could do myself or just take it to a mechanic.

usually isn't too tough of a job just need time patience and a BFH along with that fork to help pry the ball joint off.

Thats odd just check the ball joints, jack up the front end put a crow bar under the tire and lift it up and down you should see the tire wiggle up and down loosely watch the ball joints and see if the play is there simple as that.
