Unhappy Serious (maybe) Engine problem

Well, I have a problem... hopefully nothing huge, but it's outta my knowledge. All the mods on my car are listed in my signature. Here's the problem:

When I'm driving along in any gear, if I give it about half throttle, it'll start to kinda bog and feel like its misfiring, but only between 2k and 3k rpms. Everything below 2k is normal and everything above 3k is normal. Even if I go WOT it seems to be fine all the way from 2k to 6k. But when I'm easy on it is when I have the problem. And it doesn't matter what gear I'm in either. Just for some added info, I went to the track last night and ran 5 times. Didn't have any problems until I got home. But when I got to the track my tank was empty and I put 110 octane in. When I left, there was almost no gas left, so I put a couple gallons of 93 in my tank, which is what I normally use.

So now I am at a total loss as to what is wrong, and I need to get it fixed. I already changed out the fuel filter an hour ago, and it's still doing it. So please guys.... HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELPPP

110 octane in a normal/non-nitrous engine???

Leaky fuel injector(s) can cause bogging at specific rpm's. But usually it'll bog at all rpm's or have hard starts too because of flooding a cylinder.

Yes, it was 110 leaded. I had a buddy use it last week and he had no problems with it. Thats why I thought it'd be fine... apparently not. And there's no problems starting. Only problem is between 2k to 3k RPM's at half throttle or softer.

And since you ran leaded fuel through it, probably the cats are toast, too.

Doesn't have cats. headers to a ORY to the borla muffler and tips. I changed out my fuel filter and spark plugs. Everything seems to be fine now

Maybe the lead fouled the plugs. Seen that already, may have also heat damaged some of the plugs from running WOT. Look at them closely you may see the porcelin is damaged or fouled.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was the lead being the issue.

Leaded 110 octane race gas won't do a thing for your car, unless it is designed/tuned to run with it

My car used more gas then expected at the track the last time, I put 2 gallons of 110 leaded in and gained almost 2mph trap speed

D.A. was the same as well as temperature of the vehicle etc.


But yeah, I have to say it will foul o2 sensors as I have seen many post on here about it.

keep us updated to see if its still running good, i might just have to suck it up friday and do a fuel filter and new plugs.

Changed out the o2 sensors, spark plugs, and fuel filter. All is well now. Except my random flat tire..... ugh...

Where I live, that means business was down at the local tire shop so they paid the county to come grade the dirt roads.

Well, by random I mean that I drove on the highway for about 20 miles and went into a flea-market, was there for about 2 hours and came out and my tire was flat... It certainly wasn't flat when I went in. I got it filled up to 32 PSI again and drove home. By the time I got home, it was at 29 PSI. There's no noticeable hissing anywhere, and no bubbles around the valve stem or the seam of the tire. So I'm taking it to the tire shop first thing in the morning. Ridin on my spare for now
