00 trans am dead soldier recieving no power
okay since ive had my car the trip meter has always seemed to reset itself no biggy i figured lose wire find it later.
i was leaving the gym and my car had a check guages automatically i thought low on gas, no the battery gauge was at 12 looked up then down again back to normal. 5 minutes down the road does it again.
this time it doesn't come back so i'm like alternator has bit the dust.
go down the road a little ways my guage reads all the way to 18volts and radio shuts off airbag light and the rest come on i shut car off then start it back back to reading 12
come home check battery see 11.7 volts.
so plan to pick one up today go to unlock my car won't unlock so had to use key turned the ignition nothing comes on.
checked battery 11.7
no wires burned at starter
fuses check up right
batter connections perfect
Could this be a body control module? a fuseable link? anyone else had this happen?

Your battery may very well be the culprit. Take it out and get it tested...
Your battery loosing connection internally could surely cause things like you stated! Always start with the simple stuff first!

Did you get it tested?
How about the alternator? Being it to a parts store and they can test both before you go deepier into the car.
Also check the connection of the battery to the starter and the ground from the chassis to the engine and the battery to the body.
