Check the headlight connector, sometimes it has rust in it or is just not plugged in all the way.

take apart the harness that powers up the bulbs and motor... almost guaranteed you have corrosion there. Have you looked at my sticky? There's a pic with a corroded connector.

Is there a way to clean them, or do you just have to change the whole plug? What is the easiest way to getting to it? Threw the bottom?

you can replace the internal terminals of the connectors, they are metripack 280 series connectors, a good automotive electrical supply store will have them, but you need special crimpers to use them.

I had the same problems with the headlights being dim and I pulled the wiring harness on the passenger side and plugged it back up and my lights started working fine but know the headlamp door on the passenger side won't close and it was fine before, any help?

Default Solved

Solved! The headlight motor wiring harness includes the wires that go to the headlights. There are five wires, ground is the black one on the end. When I used a multimeter on the headlight connection, I was getting 12v, but when plug the light and it does not come on. My ground was not connecting properly enough, so when there was a demand on the positive the negative wasn't strong enough to handle the return. I disconnected the 5 way headlight actuator motor wire harness and the side that goes to the car wiring is basically the female side of the connection. I used a small pic, like a screwdriver but sharp bent point on the end, to pic behind the female connection. In essence, prying it outward. Connected the harness, and boom, got my low beams back. Tested high beams and they work as they should.
