Default not starting for a month

hey guys i really dont know where to put this thread but i havent started my ls1 in just under a month now due to the blizzard and redic amounts of salt on the road, but i hear that theres another snow fall coming and i was wondering should i start it and not drive it? or just let it continue to sit. but i wasnt sure if it would be better to let everything run even tho itll be stationary or to just not touch it at all. thanks

I start it up and let it sit for ten minutes? I mean unless you put stabil in it my dad keeps his corvette sitting for months at a time but keeps stabil in the gas tank and it runs fine.

Right. Then just start it and let the fluids flow for a little bit. It'll be fine to sit for now

wont really matter. just get the fluids warm, and circ them. if you want you can go thru the gears, just put a jack under the rear end and chalk the front tires.

From what I understand its better to not start the car at all unless your gonna drive it long enough to burn off moisture in the oil and exhaust. Cant really say how much is true but my dad being a car guy restoring cars all his life swears by this. Like I said personaly, im not sure. I used to start my 98 z28 through the winter to just let it run a bit. Never had problems but I didnt have the car to long either. Who knows?!
I have my 01 ss sitting under snow and I plan on not starting it at all until spring.

Oh ok lol I was gonna say something earlier but its more of opinion than fact. Also theres no one that can tell you FOR SURE because theres so many damn variables just like everything else lol.
IMO if your mind is set on at least starting the car then you did about the best you can do by letting it run for 50 min! lol. Its definatly enough time for the car to heat up and circulate coolant. But you didnt actualy drive it so who knows. The car may need to be driven so you can give the engine some good rpm to burn moisture in the system. Who the hell really knows. Its almost like trany flush good vs trany flush bad debate blah blah blah.
In the long run I say dont even stress it. The car will be fine

I just noticed you have a 160 stat in that thing. I personaly would be worried about running one of those in cool weather.
