Default rattle coming from rear speaker panel cover

I must not be the only one with this problem. The right rear plastics cover that uses the plastic retainers to hold in place rattles on me like crazy due to the "retainers" coming loose. I know they're cheap to replace (done that already), but is there something I can do to keep it tight for longer than a week? any custom solutions?

Yes. Go to gmparts direct and look at a blow-up of the parts. There were originally small foam-rubber bumpers that go on the retainers to insulate them from the metal brackets. If you take out your spare tire, you'll probably find some of them laying down in the spare well. They fall off really easily when the cover is taken off.
