Default part# for the rubber wiper bumper

Does anyone know the part number for the rubber bumper that the wiper arm rests against? Or even the technical term for it. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I don't know the part number, but I do know that there are two different sizes. The driver side is the larger of the two. Using the incorrect size on either side will cause the wipers to smack against either other when they are closed. At a quick glance, they both look the same, same design, but comparing them, they are quite different in size. So, make sure you get the right one for the right side. I picked up a couple at the junkyard to replace mine. They also stand on end, not on their side. On their side, the blades mostly don't contact them and slide right over em. Keep that in mind.

I was about to replace a missing one, and I accidentally found it laying on the metal shelf behind the strut tower. Might be worth a look.

I just went thru the parts file pdf & it shows them as 'part of air inlet screen'.
So you can not buy them seperately as GM part numbers.
Best bet is to find a local salvage yard & ask them.
Or email/call some of the other salvage yards.
There are a couple who are LS1Tech sponsor who may be able to help.

Thats correct, my TA is missing the drivers side and you have to get the entire plastic cowl assembly. As said above, try a salvage yard.

Damn...nothing is ever easy. Crazy how you can't pick up a "part" you have to get the whole "assembly"

I have a set if you need them.......infact I have two sets of those rubbers. I pull um off! so the wipers can be adjusted down farther.
