i still have my original tensioner, i figured it was still good and the only reason i changed it was it was making noise. i greased it like it showed in a write up here. the part came from canada, so blame the canadians. lol

Just an update. I used the high shouldered gates pulley and is working fine so far. Many wot runs and shifts. No problem. Only thing I had to do was put a longer belt on. This was partly due to the larger pulley and also due to switching to a truck alternator at the same time. I had to switch from a 76inch belt to a 78inch belt.
