Battery Shorting Under Acceleration

Battery Shorting Under Acceleration After swapping battery & main hot cable assembly my car has been doing
a Christmas tree dash & near death experience under hard acceleration.
I checked the battery hold-down and it was OK.
I found the problem underneath, the battery to starter branch of the hot
cable assembly passes real close to the A/C compressor and there was a
little area where the pulley had chafed into the conductor. If I wiggled it
just a hair from resting position I got a nice fat spark.
Taped, sleeved & zip-tied it out of the way.
