Popping/grinding rearend hard acceleration from stand. Im new to the forum and just got my first LS1 (with lots of miles 130). 98 Z28.
Its auto and when I hammer the gas from a stand still it seems like there is a light grinding noise and it kind of pops in the rear. At first I thought it was the tires letting go a bit but I think theres more to it. Only off the line it does it, otherwise good.
By the way I have no rubber in the front end link (drivers) and the shock seems dead so it unloads pretty good. Feels cool when I hammer it and it kind of twist squats.
Just trying to make it last 6-7 weeks till its in the garage for the winter and I can fix up all the know issues.
