Default Scraping noise under hard braking?

I have noticed over the past couple months when I apply the brakes hard at speeds above 10 mph I hear this terrible scraping noise of metal. The only mods I have are a lid and slp lm catback. Stock suspension. I checked the exhaust and there was not one single scratch on the pipe or resonator so I'm confused. Anybody know what this might be?

^ bad pads? watch out, keep an eye on your rotors or they will eat your rotors pretty bad

I am pretty sure my rotors need turned cause they catch when I slow don't and the ride isn't smooth. Do I need new pads and rotors? Or should I just get them turned

You most likely need pads and rotors at this point. I would spend the extra money and buy new rotors and pads But you could have the rotors turned if they meet minimum thickness. Dont skimp on pads. For stock applications i like the wagner thermo quiet pads they are a bit more money but are quiet and dont make a bunch of dust.

Just installed a set of rotorsonline drilled/slotted rotors and Hawk HPP pads. Love the way the car brakes.

I was thinking brakemotive if I do get the rotors/pads. I'm going to double check the brakes with someone standing outside the car while I hit the brakes and try to diagnose where the noise is before I drop $165 dollars on new brakes lol.
