Light vibration/rattle when stopped?

Default Light vibration/rattle when stopped?
I drive a 99 a4 formula, for the past week or so when I'm at a stop light/sign stopped, with my foot on the break and the car still in drive I've been feeling a slight vibration and hearing a slight rattle around the right rear end. Any ideas? Thanks

loose heat shields,exaust,get under it and check for loose parts,exaust hangers wore out etc.

Thanks guys, so just tighten the heat shields up ad make sure nothing else is loose

Haven't tried it yet lol I don't have a jack and I'll have to figure out how to do it. My buddy told me to take it to a muffler shop

also, you might want to check your catalytic converter, in case its not the heat shield. You can check by getting a rubber mallet and tapping the cat on the sides. If it sounds like something is broke or loose inside, then its probably your cat being bad. You shouldnt need a jackstand for that if youre small enough.

Mine used to do the same, and it turned out to be cat. It rattled when i was in idle, park or neutral.

x2. Mine rattled like that and it annoyed the hell out of me. cut it out and put in a "test pipe" in the parking lot with a sawsall and some wrenches. Yes it was a pain but not that bad.

Lol I'm re doing my exhaust set up next month so I'm gonna probably leave it alone. I have flowmaster on it now but I'm getting LT with new mufflers/tips and taking off my cata
