dash board a/c vent how do you pull it out

wondering how to pull the a/c vents out on my 2000 ws6 to install a shift light and some gauges

im pretty sure you can just give them a good tug and they will pop right out.

They dont just pop out, you have to put a thin blade in beside them and pop them out, good luck I broke 3 out of the 4. there is also a video on YOUTUBE,, makes it look real easy,, Mine were not.

Same here, I screwed up the slats in one of my vents trying to mount a satellite radio and I ended up having to break it to get it out.

this is why camaros are better, they pull out. sorry dont know about the pontiacs but take your time getting them out.
