Default Need a new battery

Im in need of a new battery in my 02 z28. Just wonder what everyone else uses and what is a good brand to use that looks decent. Thinking of red top otpima but have heard some negative feedback from some people.

I'm in the same boat. I've heard the Red Top Optima are great for DD but if the car sits for a while between driving its not very good will lose life quicker. I chose the Interstate mega tron plus.

I've been using the AC Delco Professional series for a long time now. I've always gotten between 6-8 years out of them.

Either get the yellow top or a die hard platinum, having changed batterys for the last 3 years almost every day I know red tops dont last long at all, interstate is more miss than hit.

I'm on my 5th Red Top. Like already said, if it sits you'll be replacing it.

There is no better battery out there.......Get the AC Delco 78-7yr.....50 month free replacement.... its badass. Bennett Auto $109.00 with core exchange.

I was considering the Die Hard Platinum...but for $190.00, thats just moronic. The AC Delco is stronger and comes with a longer 100% FREE replacement warranty. Also, they redesigned it from the last 78-7YR I had in there for 6 years...now it has caps you can pull off the top to check the water level. They still say its a truly sealed battery , but they can be taken off to check them. Plus it weighs 15 pounds less than the Platinum.

They upgraded it to 800 CCA from the old 750 CCA and it has the same 960 CA.

I spoke to Advance Auto and PepBoys...they said they get alot of the Optimas back. So forget them. Plus they are all weaker than the AC Delco and the Optimas are a rip off. I can't believe people still buy the Optimas, its like they have the marketing of the colors red and yellow tops down so well, people want them for some reason. Strange....
