Default AC blower fan = more speed?

Wondering if there is a way to increase blower fan speed? My DD Chrysler 200 blow furiously and cools the car quick. Wondering if there is way to engineer a faster fan for 4gens?

Update June 14th
Unclogged my system by removing a bunch of stuck leaves...air pressure is restored to like new.
If your AC air isn't blowing hard on highest setting, remove the fan and stick a vacuum in towards the evaporator area and get as much leaves as you can, than take off your cowl grille and use compressed air to blow leaves out from the top. Your AC will feel like a new car.

More voltage= Higher DC motor speeds

It's probably clogged up with leaves. Takes 5 minutes to take out and check.

Lightbulb Yep....

It'll surely take some "advanced engineering" to get this handled.

Assuming that its not clogged will the stock motor be able to handle more voltage without dieing? Now if the motor can handle the extra power will the fan be able to handle the rpm?

You could try running a power wire directly from the battery through a relay and switch....not sure if on full speed if it actually sees full voltage or not.

The fan and motor should be sble to handle higher voltage

The squirill cage from a Chevy Astro van should do the trick ,,,,,,it's got the most angle on the blades of any of the GM squirill cages or at least pass cars and trucks

To firebird99 ,,,,yes any permanent magnet DC motor can handle 2 or 3 times the rated voltage and be fine and much more powerful and faster .

I pulled the fan out the SS and 200 to compare.
The 200 diameter is a little bigger, the main thing I think on why it pushes more air is the design of the fins being longer; almost twice the size.

I picked up a blower fan for 93 Astro van from parts store for $28
The only way I think this will work is swap the Astro fan onto Camaro motor. The Astro appears to be a bolt only holding it in place but the Camaro fan looks pressed on.

yes it's stock. How good does your aftermarket blow air..better than stock?

the Astro unit has a taller fan and the blades are a little wider. So in theory it should push more air.

Well after closer inpection of my system, found a bunch of leaves inside. Vacuumed them out from inside and blew a lot out from the cowl panel after removing my cowl grille. AC air blows now like it should...guess over time I didn't realize the system was getting clogged.
Air cools down the car quickly like a car of showroom floor.
