Default Rpms drop during braking?

I have on 02 t/a m6. When I shift into neutral and ease onto the brakes my engines rpms drop sometimes almost to the point of stalling, then once completely stopped they bump back up to normal. What could be causing this?

It varies. Sometime down to almost 500, sometimes seems like itll stall but never does. Other times it just doesnt happen.

Vacuum loss. Don't brake in neutral and you will be fine.

It's nothing to worry about.
