Engine sputters during driving
OK I have a picture of what I am talking about but I dont have a URL address. I can email it to someone for posting. The picture points to the hose that goes down under and just to the right of battery compartment if your facing the car looking down. Let me know if anyone post it in this thread. Let me also say I am no mechanic nor do I have a great knowledge of cars. I know the basics and this is what I was told was causing the sputtering issue.

Ok here is a pic of the hose that broke. Just follow the hose into a small box under and just to the right of the battery platform if your facing the car and looking down.

Just wanted to throw this out there, just came across a 94 z28 lt1 ran great cold, once at temp (closed loop) it would break up under load at higher rpms. Replaced opti, plugs, wires, coil, ICM, (all original stuff in rough shape). Same basic problem, scan data showed bank 1 lean at idle, even though all four plugs on that side came out pitch black. Short term fuel trim was pegged high only on that side and it still produced 02 readings between .000-.200, Ended up being a bad A.I.R. diverter valve on the pass. side exhaust manifold blowing back into the system and messing up the other sides readings. A quick check, just pull the hoses off the diverter valves and run it. No more high rpm break up here.
