Default AC Water leaking in car

Im sure many of you have had this...the hole on the bottom of the evap. core box gets clogged, water fills in there and eventually starts dripping into passenger side or even Drivers side.

Had it happen a few years ago, unclogged hole and everything was fine.

Happened two weeks ago- jack up car, unclog and think its fixed....

a week later I have a pool of water on top of my carpet on passenger side.

SO I take carpet out, and now Im trying to figure out what to do. It smells when I turn the AC on, no doubt due to the stagnate water sitting in that box....does anyone have any idea to eliminate this issue I am having?

Default

you have more dirt and junk in there than you you thought. Keep cleaning it out until it stops leaking inside the car.
