Found a place selling dash pads in black for 129.95$ new. They aren't a vendor but I thought it'd be nice to pass on the information. What are the rules on sharing that info??? They are on some sort of sale right now and I think we could all agree we need them!

The part that goes up to windshield is called a "crash pad" commonly referred to as "dash pad" on ls1tech, the part you are talking about is the actual "dash." You will have to buy a "dash" to fix whatever issue you have with yours. I know it doesn't make much sense, since one is hard and the other is softer, but that's what they call them.

Picked up one of these dash covers for about 110 last fall. It was ok.
Mine was in such bad shape it was actually missing chunks of it when I bought the car.
The down side was it did not include the defrost vent it just had a hole for it. Mine was busted to pieces so I put in a nice stainless metal screen in there under the cover.
