Default window motors

my passenger side window motor quit working. just gonna go ahead and replace driver and passenger motors. i thought i had read a thread a while back about a wiring harness that supplied the correct power for the motors so they last longer. anyone know of this? also, what motor and where is the best place to get the motor and wiring harnesses? thx, shawn

autotrix window fix.

just did one on my pass window & now it works fine............before it would not go all the way up.

you dont need to change window motors, just install the auto trix kit & gets more power to your old window motor.

good luck!

Only thing I see is a passenger side kit. There is a "Express Down Kit" for both sides but that's it. If you have a part number could you please provide me with that. Thx, Shawn.

autotrix.net has a forum, you would probably get all your ?s answered there.....
i think they are a sponsor on tech.

yes, there is a regular passenger side kit & a express kit for the pass side....
my pass window goes up & down with ease now after installing the $35 kit......

but i think there is only an express kit for the driver side.?.?
i only did my pass side so i know nothing about the driver side.

If you decide to change the window motors get the Dorman replacement motors.

If you are rolling in cash, this might be worth considering. Purchasing two new Dorman motors with a lifetime warranty is by far less expensive. (Especially when you take in to account that the kit doesn't "fix" the motor - it will just give you extended life.)
