I always wanted a Red dash and the red LED's in the Camaro dash looked Pink and I was having none of that lol. So I just got a cluster from a 98 TransAm and switched the mileage LED.

Old thread, but very relevant: Anyone know if you can pull the mileage LED from a 98 cluster and place it in a 99?

Not sure about that but....... I originally tried to put a 99 cluster in my 98 and came to find out that there was a big electrical change in 99 and the difference was too great to make it work. I had to find a cluster from a 98 Trans am.
