Default oil consumption problem improved

I bought car about 2 months ago and was consuming oil badly. I then read about the pcv valve fix and changed it. I was using penzoil plantium sythnetic 5w 30. I just switched to Mobil 1 0w 40 European formula which is way better then us crap. My car has not consumed a drop of oil in 600 miles. Before was consuming almost 1 quart 1k miles. I am very happy so far. this thread is for people who bought there cars like me resently. I am still considering a catch can cause it is still early but things look promosing. Im not sure if it was the change of oil and pcv valve or one or the other cause I changed oil and valve around same time.

I have a catch can (not installed yet), and was going to switch over to the LS6 PCV system. - But this sounds like another good way to have it work as well
