Default Electrical Problems (several things died at once)

Hello I have a 2001 Camaro SS Z28 T-Top. The other night my heater fan, rear window defrost, and turn signals all quit at the same time(hazzards work.) Through alot of time under the dash with a test light and pouring over wiring diagrams I have found the following.
1. There is no power TO either the turn/bu fuse and the HVAC fuse
2. The ignition switch is fine and also not in the steering column (I tore it appart looking for the switch)
3. The power to both of those fuses (per the wiring diagram) comes from the same wire that comes from the ignition switch.
4. All the wires coming directly out of the ignition switch are hot when they are supposed to be.
5. It is a royal pita to trace brown wires when there are a f***ton of them.
6. I recently found a relay with a brown wire going to it but I would think relays should come after the fuse? The number on it is OMRON 12177235 D00 it is located to the left of the steering column next to the flasher.

Anybody it is winter in oregon I want to drive my baby!

You said you have wiring diagrams, trace them out. If you're not getting power to the fuse block, trace it back to the battery. Use the power distribution diagram, you may have fried a fusible link. And of course, check ALL your grounds.

Grounds check out. I have traced up to the ignition switch and it is good to that point (according the the diagram it comes from batt to ignition switch to fuse. Somewhere between the switch and the fuse is the problem however, I can't find anything.

Just to make sure, you checked power to those fuses with the key in RUN, right? If you checked with the key out, you're not going to get power to those fuses.

Unfortunately, sounds like you'll have to trace from the ignition switch to the fuse block then.

The problem is everything is bundled and next to impossible to get to. I am assuming in order to access it you have to pull the dash and I want to exhaust everything before I do that.

Thanks for the input. I have tested the wire coming into the fuse from the back of the panel and there is no power at that point.

There is a big wire that plugs into top of steering column. If its not plugged in all way it does EXZACtly what u describe. Check it. The plug only carriers the one wire. I think it's orange. Bet that will fix it.

Is the problem intermittent or did they go out and now stay out?

Just heard back from the shop I guess it's the ignition switch.
