Default how to line up steering shaft and u joint

I have my engine crossmember lowered and now am trying to bolt it back up, but my headers are getting in the way of sliding the steering u joint onto the shaft. is there a way to pull the steering shaft back and to make room to slide the u joint onto it? I really don't want to take my header back off to do it.

What headers are you using? Sometimes you have to move the steering shaft over a little bit to get past the headers. Can you post a pic?

I was told they are ebay headers. It looks like the headers won't get in the way. I just shouldn't have unbolted the k member in the first place. and yea next chance I get ill snap a pic and post it.
