ls6 intake repair advice please help!

Default ls6 intake repair advice please help!

hey guys so i just got an ls6 intake from ebay and the map sensor was broken off and not included im just curious if this is even going to be an easy fix? cause i have heard i can swap it from my ls1 intake. just wanna get some advice and opinions on what i should do.

Yes u can use your stock map sensor.
That broken tab holds down the map in place. Idk how u would hold it down. Maybe zip ties??

i had similar issues.i used zip ties.

im sorry if i sound stupid by asking this but isnt that orange grommet that sticks in there a vital part of the sensor or is it literally just to hold the sensor in place??

The orange doodad is the seal, the retainer clip is broken off. If you look at your LS1 intake you will see. Pull the orange seal and broken plastic piece out of the LS6 intake and used your LS1 sensor and seal. Use a few zip ties to secure it.
